Albatross Golf Resort has been ranked the number 1 golf course in the Czech Republic.

Located close to the capital and home to the Czech Masters on the European Tour for the last four year, Albatross Golf Resort has proved itself worthy as a world class golfing destination.

The Albatross Golf Course designed by Keith Preston is situated on a hillside bordering the Cesky kras Czech Karst Nature Reserve, more than 1,000ft above sea level. It is a Par 72 with a USGA course rating of 75.1 and a slope rating of 147 off the white tees.  Each hole offers four or five tees, making it enjoyable for every level of player. There are also 10 holes that have separate black tees, extending the layout to 7,538yards, which makes, it one of the longest courses played on the European Tour. With 10 water hazards and more than 1,500 newly planted mature trees, the Albatross course presents a scenic, target golf challenge that makes great use of the region’s rolling hills. The course is laid out in two loops of nine, both of which return to the clubhouse via daunting water-strewn fairways.

The course is complimented by state of the art practice facilities where there are two chipping greens with four bunkers, one bunker for practicing long shots, two putting greens and a junior practice course of 10,800 square metres with two greens and two bunkers. The Golf Academy itself boasts a state-of-the-art putting and fitting studio, featuring a GC2 launch-‐monitor video analysis, HeartMath software and the SAM PuttLab ultrasound putting system. The range is partially covered and can accommodate up to 45 players at any one time and includes five target greens.
