German Boys and Girls Open 2023

From Thursday 1st June to Saturday 3rd June, top young golfers from all over Europe descended upton Golf Club St. Leon-Rot in Germany to showcase their talent at the 19th edition of the German Boys & Girls Open.

A total of 113 boys and 109 girls competed in three rounds for the title of the Under 18 International German Amateur Champion on the well-presented Championship courses  at the European Tour Destination – St. Leon and Rot.

As with the previous year, the boys’ competition was dominated by the deserved Boys and Girls winner, Tim Wiedemeyer from Germany, who finished on -13. In the Girls’ competition the Spaniard, Rocio Tejedo, won with rounds of 69, 68 and 69 and a total score of -10. Tejedo beat German International Helen Briem by one shot to claim the female prize. The podium was completed by Tejedo’s fellow Spaniard Anna Canado Espinal who finished -9.
