Marco Simone Golf & Country Club’s 18-hole Championship course, re-designed to world-class calibre to host the 44th edition of The Ryder Cup, has seven different starting tees, making it accessible for all level of golfer. The club’s nine-hole Resort course also offers a fair and fulfilling challenge.
The transformation of the Marco Simone Ryder Cup course was coordinated by European Golf Design in collaboration with Tom Fazio II, son of architect Jim Fazio who designed the original Marco Simone Golf Club course. The course winds through the rolling Roman countryside, with the 11th century Castello di Marco Simone a constant backdrop across the 350 acres of pristinely-kept land.
